#BOX OFFICE.
Before it's release, Box office experts predicted that the movie will be a huge disaster just like it's story especially due to his heavy budget.Even James Cameron thought the movie will be a disaster after the first screening for the press. They wrote that this movie will be a jolt for Cameron's pride as the movie resembles the old Hollywood romantics.
But finally when the film got released it oped to an earth shattering response not only in US but also in most of the countries across the world. It topped the charts for 15 straight weeks in US.It broke all domestic box office records for foreign films in many domestic markets around the world. The movie was remarked as' a movie that will make men cry'. Psychological studies were conducted all over the world to analyze the impact of this movie on teenagers.
The movie held the box office record for the highest grossing film in the world for 12 years until the release of another James Cameron movie Avatar.Avatar may have crossed Titanic's revenue but Titanic still holds the record for the highest number in attendance. The movie collected a whooping $2.1 BILLION against a budget of $200 million.
The movie was a turning point in the careers of both Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.Their remunerations went sky high  after the release. Both were voted the most adorable pair ever seen in Hollywood.

TIP OF THE DAY: EVERYTHING MAN MADE WILL SINK ONE DAY.
