#PLOT.
    The movie is all about Frank Martin [Jason Statham],who is a retired army man now running a transportation business under his own strict rules.He will deliver any cargo, anywhere without opening it and without taking any names.He does his job very neat and clean and he sticks to his rules.Rule no.1: Don't change the deal.Rule no.2: No names.Rule no.3:Never open the package.
But everything changes in this one transportation when he is hired by an American gangster Bettencourt to deliver a package.On his way for delivery he finds the package moving and so he breaks his rule no.3 and opens to see it.To his surprise he finds gagged young women in the parcel.Things take a serious turn as the women has a shocking story about hundreds of hostages being transported in containers for money.The retired army man Frank decides to help out but he finds his enemies strong and powerful and he needs to polish out his old skills to deal with them.

#POSITIVES.
1. Mind blowing action sequences are the main highlight of this movie.The non-stop action makes  it a intriguing watch.The car chases and the stunts are well mixed and executed.It's a outright commercial pot boiler and the makers does't shy away in admitting it.So get to see what you expect and so no disappointments.
2. Jason Statham steals the show with his action skills and perfect timings.He took a lot of training in martial arts for this movie and it shows in his performance.
3. Shu Qi looks gorgeous and innocent.A perfect cast to play her character.
4. The plot and screenplay, which never drags you even for a moment.

#NEGATIVES.
1. The movie had several cuts by US sensor board for it's excessive violence and over adventurous action scenes.
2. Your basic logic may be put under a scanner at some point.But as I said before it's an outright commercial movie.So unscrew your brains and keep it somewhere safe, before you switch on your DVD sets.Just enjoy...

#SEQUELS.
   After the tremendous success of the first installment,The Transporter had two sequels Transporter 2 and Transporter 3:Reboot.Both sequels were great success at the box office.Jason Statham played the hero in both the sequels.
#BOX OFFICE.
   The movie was received well by the critics especially for its stunning action scenes.Even though in US a trimmed version of this movie was released,the uncut version was released in many countries including UK,Japan and France.The movie was a tremendous hit in many Asian countries including India.DVD sales of the movie also made huge bucks all over the world.Made with a budget of $24 million the movie garnered a worldwide gross of around $44 million.
