Verdict: A unique revenge thriller.

#PLOT.
     Porter [Mel Gibson],along with his wife and friend Val,successfully completes a heist from the local Chinese goons and grab $140,000.According to the agreement it was meant to be split equally.But his wife and friend Val betrays him.They shoot him down and escapes with the money.But Porter survives and he is sets out to get back his money.But Porter finds out that Val is associated with a dangerous crime syndicate named the Outfit.Now Porter has to deal with the all- powerful syndicate to get back his $70000.

 #POSITIVES.
1. A very clever plot.Never seen before story line which makes the movie a stand out among revenge dramas.
2. Terrific performance from the master actor,Mel Gibson.He is subtle and matured with his character.
3. A very sincere direction.Not going out too fancy with the graphics or other gimmicks.
4. Fast paced and so intriguing.

#NEGATIVES.
1. Some cliches normally as always in any thrillers.
2. Over-blown violence in some scenes.
3. Drug abuse and some adult content that makes the movie restricted for children under 16.

#BOX OFFICE.
  The movie received positive reviews from critics.It's still considered as one of the best revenge thrillers in Hollywood.The movie was a big success at the box office too.It collected more than $160 million against a budget of $90 million.[inflation not adjusted].
