#PLOT.
   A well planned heist of more than $35 million dollar of gold bricks is perfectly executed by John Bridges [Donald Sutherland],a professional safe cracker and his associates.His associates include Charlie Croker [Mark Wahlberg] who is a professional thief;Handsome Rob [Jason Statham],an expert driver;Napster,who is a computer expert;Steve[Edward Norton] their intelligence specialist and Left Ear,who is an explosive expert.Celebration starts but doesn't last too long as one of their associate betrays them and steal the money away by killing John Bridges and shooting others.But all other cleverly escape from the shooting and wait for almost an year to plan a perfect revenge and take back the gold .The daughter of John,Stella [Charlize Theron] joins the party and together they execute their fool proof plan in the Italian way.

#POSITIVES.
1. One of the best racy action thrillers made in Hollywood according to me.The film never slows down instead it gathers pace by every passing moment.
2. The plot and the screenplay is excellent which makes the movie an intoxicating effect.
3. Great star cast with some huge names like Mark Wahlberg and Jason Statham along with Chalize Theron and Edward Norton.
4. The movie was a remake of a 1969 British Film of the same name and this one stands out better than thee original in performance and technicality.
5. Smart direction keeping things moving and tossing up with some great surprises and twists in between.

#NEGATIVES.
1.As a huge fan of Jason Statham,I dont like him playing a second fiddle in any movie.
2. I loved the movie and so I don't want to pinpoint any slight drawbacks here.

#BOX OFFICE.
    The movie was well received by the critics mainly for it's action and plot.It made a huge impact at the box office too.It collected more than $180 million against a budget of $ 60 million.If you are a fan of action thrillers then don't miss it.
