#PLOT
   A 'Mechanic' is an elite assassin who kills anybody he is paid to murder.Arthur Bishop [Jason Statham],is a 'mechanic',a professional assassin,who is uniquely talented and who gets his job done smartly.He does his job for his friend and mentor Harry McKenna but his new assignment comes as a bitter surprise;to eliminate Harry Mckenna itself.Arthur is given a wrong report about Harry as a traitor and he had no other way other than to kill Harry.But after eliminating Harry,Arthur doesn't forget about his commitments towards him and so he decides to help out Harry's reckless son Steve[Ben Foster]. He trains  Steve well to be another assassin like him and starts taking him along for his jobs which he used to do alone.But things take a bitter and bloody turn when Steve learns that it was Arthur who eliminated his father.

#POSITIVES

1. Jason Statham and his great action skills.He once again proves that he is the best action hero around with his timings and commitment. 
2. Ben Foster does a fantastic job alongside Statham.
3. Nice plot and fast narration.
4. Excellent visuals and stunning action sequences.

# NEGATIVES

1. TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY VIOLENCE.
2. FOUL LANGUAGE USUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH THESE TYPE OF MOVIES.
3. CLICHES.

      The movie was made with a budget of around $40 million.The movie made big money at the box office mainly because of Jason Statham's action hero image.It almost collected $80 million world wide.The great success of this movie prompted the makes with a sequel called 'THE MECHANIC:RESURRECTION' in 2016.

# VERDICT
     The movie won't disappoint you if you are an action movie lover.Go for it..
