Verdict: A well made movie.Must watch.

      Walt Kowalsky[Clint Eastwood],is a retired war veteran who still lives in the old school.He dislikes the modern world,the new dressing style and the freaky outlooks.So he likes to live alone in his old apartment, away from his children and grandchildren.He hates his neighborhood which is full of Asian immigrants and where gang wars  are quite common.So he stays detached and alone in his apartment doing some fixing jobs.He owns a 'Gran Torino'which he considers as his prize possession.
Next to his apartment lives a Hmong family who has strange beliefs and culture and Kowalsky hates them the most.Their kid Thao is a slightly slow and girlish kid who doesn't mingle much with his own age group and so is always lonely and depressed.But the other girl of the Hmong family Sue, is smart and educated.Sue wins over the heart of Kowalsky soon and both become best friends.

 As it was common in Hmong community that the girls go to school and the boys end up in jail;Theo is often threatened by a notorious Hmong gang to join their group.The shy and inane Theo tries to keep away from them ,but their pressure continues.As their threatening reaches Kowalsky's lawn,he warns the Spider gang by taking out his gun.Kowalsky decides to train Theo to be a man and to improve his personality.He allows Theo to work with him and he helps him to get a job in construction field.Meanwhile Sue earns Kowalsky's respect and he treats her like his own grandchild.

          But things take an ugly turn when Theo is attacked and harassed by the Spyder gang when he was on his way back from work.An outrageous Kowalsky takes the matter in his won hand and assaults one of the Spyder gang member and warns him again to stay away from Theo.This assault from Theo sparks revenge from the gang as they abduct Sue and tortures her.That was more than enough to provoke  the war veteran Kowalsky to land his final punch on the Gang.

  Clint Eastwood,the Legend,once again displays his talent as an actor and director.The move is well crafted and well written.It's not only a revenge drama but also a great movie with a message.If you are a true movie lover you don't want to miss this one.
