Verdict:Various weak fibers braided together into a strong rope.

    This movie involves lots of plots,sub-plots,characters and missions,but everything finally coming to one circle.The story is all about a 86-carrat diamond and men behind this diamond.After stealing this diamond Four Fingers[Benica Toro],reaches London on his way to US.His passion for gambling lands him in trouble.Turkish[Jason Statham],who earns his living by conducting illegal boxing matches, which help earn betting agents lots of money.In search of a caravan his main fighter gets injured by a gypsy named Mickey[Brad Pitt].He gets knocked out in Mickeys first punch.This prompts Turkish into convincing Mickey into the boxing ring as his new fighter.But Mickey who is a real talent knocks out his opponent in his very first punch itself,making Turkish's betting agent Brick Top losing hefty sum.This puts Turkish and Mickey in serious trouble.

            Meanwhile the hunt for diamond continues among a Russian and the uncle of Four fingers,who lands in London after he gets to know that Four Fingers is into gambling.Three amateur guys and a dog is assigned by the Russian to grab the diamond and they kill Four Fingers.But the Dog consumes the diamond and killing spree starts.Dog runs away and people behind this diamond chase and kill each other.

        The diamond chase and the illegal boxing are the two main plots in this comedy film.Lots of characters appear and lots of sub plots are made,but everything seems to get stringed together or  I must say rather twisted together to form a nice comedy thriller.It's an interesting watch with lots of light moments.

        Brad Pitt perfectly fits into the gypsy character and fighter.He looked convincing and in full bloom.Turkish,was different from the usual for Jason Statham with some light comedy pasted to his character.But he springs up a surprise with an outstanding performance.All the rest of the cast does splendidly to make this movie an entertaining feast.A special mention to the dog trainer in this movie because it seems that the amusing dog too understood the script well.Go for it....
