Verdict: A warm movie with some cool comedies

 An irresponsible,lazy guy in his thirties,Sonny Koufax[Adam Sandler],loves to take things lightly and shy away from work often.His attitude is the main coarse of concern for his girl friend and father.Except for his delivery man,every one treats him with disrespect and indignity.To prove his girl friend and others wrong he decides to take up some responsibility in life and by fate one day a person leaves a child in his door front with a note.The note claims that the young boy,Julian McGrath's mother is unable to take care of the child as she is sick and henceforth transferring the child to his biological father and that happens to be his friend Kevin.Sonny assures Kevin who is China bound, to keep this as a secret and assures him to take care of Julian until his return.So Sonny takes the name of Kevin and calls the social worker Arthur Brooks and accepts the custody of Julian.Both "KID'S" starts a new life full of fun and the bond starts to become stronger.

           His over ambitious girl friend returns and much to Sonny's surprise, with an old man who has got a five year plan to succeed in life.Disappointed Sonny,now finds it hard to take care of the child and decides to return him back to the social worker who send the child.Sonny learns that Julian's mother passed away and promises the social worker to keep Julian till another family is ready to adopt him.Sonny enrolls Julian in school and starts to take care of his daily demands and studies.

        But Arthur Brooks find out that Sonny has impersonated Kevin and takes away the child with police help.This leaves both Sonny and Julian in despair.Now the only way to get Julian's custody is through court and Sonny is charged with child's abduction.But in court he has to prove that he was a good father and for that he needs the help of all his friends.But the main hitch turns out to be Sonny's father,who strongly believe that an unaccountable Sonny can never be a responsible care taker for Julian.We await the court ruling...

             The scenes of Sonny and Julian are so heart touching and warm.They give to plenty of moments to laugh and enjoy.The court episodes are touching and the film ends with a nice message.It's worth your time especially if you plan to watch this with your kids.A feel good movie...
