#POSITIVES.
1. One the best revenge thrillers I have seen. The movie has a great pace and tremor to keep you engaged. It's both emotional and physical.A punch on the faces of youth who doesn't care about society and family.
2. Top class performance from the great Michael Caine. He excels in emotional scenes.
3. A revenge story which will make you fully satisfied.Everyone feels happy when the real bad are taught a lesson the bad way.
4. Interesting twist in the climax which makes the movie all interesting.
#NEGATIVES.
1. Too much violence on display.
2. Drug abuse and foul languages which makes it tough for family viewing.
#BOX OFFICE.
The movie was well received by critics with many showering praises for Michael Caine's performance. It's a British movie but fared well at the US box office too.It collected around $10 million world wide against a small budget of around $7 million.
TIP OF THE DAY: AN EYE FOR AN EYE WILL MAKE THE WHOLE WORLD BLIND.
