Verdict: A good revenge thriller.Worth a watch.

#PLOT.
   Fabio Restrepo is working as an assassin for the Colombian drug lord and mobster Don Luis Sandoval and he decides to quit the scene for the sake of his family.But Don tails him and kills him and his wife in front of his 9 year old daughter,Cataleya.Cataleya,who is a brilliant girl escapes from the scene with a chip that contains a lot of secrets and hands them over to US officials.She gets a passport to US but after reaching there she escapes from the cops and takes refuge with her uncle Emilio.With only revenge in her mind she refuse to go to school.Emilio,who is a hit man prompts the importance of schooling and promises her to be trained as a professional killer.

      After 15 years she becomes one of the best killers in the business and she starts taking assignments from Emilio.But along side she starts taking life's of her fathers assassins.In spite of Emilio's warning she doesn't stop.Her precision,speed and accuracy even makes it hard for FBI and CIA to track her down.But unknowingly she was putting the life's of Emilia and her Mama at risk.It becomes too late for a return as she finds her uncle and mama dead and the whole FBI behind her.But now a much more ferocious and searing Cataleya has only one goal;to find out Don and his associates and eliminate them.

#POSITIVES.

1. An intense thriller with an engaging plot.Well-paced.
2. Excellent action sequences.Well-taken and well shot.
3. Mind blowing performance from Zoe Saldana.Swift and masterly with her action.
4. Good direction.Short and so fast flowing.

#NEGATIVES.

1. Some can call the characters stereotyped as in many revenge movies.
2. Too much violence sometimes that can be disturbing for some.
3. Some sexual scenes which makes in inappropriate for children
4. Controversy about portraying Colombia in  negative way upon it's release.

#BOX OFFICE.
  The movie was not well received by critics upon it's release for it's over blown violence and the controversy surrounding the portrayal of Colombia.But it was appreciated for the acrobatic performance from Zoe.The movie made a decent gross of over $60 million at the box office which made it a success.The movie was remade as Agnee in Bangladesh which set a box office record there.
