  Inspector Harry Callahan[Clint Eastwood],is an efficient cop with SFPD dealing with homicide cases.He is called 'Dirty Harry' because he hates every one and tries to deal things in his own way.A paranoid killer called the 'Scorpio' starts creating havoc in town by shooting people down from rooftops.He leaves a blackmail note at the crime scene demanding $100'000 from the city or else he will shoot one person a day.The mayor hands over the case to Harry.Harry and his new partner Chico Gonzalez starts their mysterious trial of the killer.

  Even though Harry comes to a direct encounter with the killer he manages to escape.But this time he abducts a young girl and threatens to kill her unless the city pays his ransom.Harry finally catches the killer from a football stadium with much effort but the lack of evidence and Harry's denial of any rights  to the criminal during the time of arrest,sets him free in the court of law.Harry is disappointed but warns the cops that the killing will continue.

      Scorpio this time hijacks a school bus with small kids and demands a jet with a pilot and money to fly out of the country.No one can stop him unless Harry who has been removed from the case already,decides to act.
       One of the best action thrillers you will ever come across.The Legend, Clint Eastwood gives a power packed performance.The young,handsome Clint Eastwood is a delight to watch for his style and some punch dialogues.The movie was a huge success that many sequels to  Dirty Harry got released starring the Legend in the coming years.A SMART MOVIE FROM THE LEGEND.
