  The movie starts with an unarmed gun men shooting at will in a supermarket killing a lot and making some hostages.He claims himself to be a person fighting for a new world and his daredevil acts forces the cops to call upon  the very special one at the crime scene,Marion Cobretti.Known as Cobra[Sylvester Stallone],makes his grand entry and without wasting time put his acts together and shoot down the paranoid killer.Cobra is famous for his combat skills and and precision but infamous for his bad temper.Meantime the city is in real shock with a spree of killings including children,women,immigrants and old men.The deadly deeds was supposed to be some work of a maniac and the department finally hands over the investigation to Cobra and his partner Tony.

       Cobra soon find out that its not an individual but a group of people called the' Night Slashers' ,who are behind these brutal killings.Model and business women Ingrid Knudsen is attacked but she manages to escape from the scene injured.This makes the group alert and they start chasing her to the hospital where they find the venomous Cobra waiting for them.This sparks off the deadly fight between the Cobra and the dangerous army of 'Night Slashers'. But its too late before they find out that someone in the team itself is helping the deadly Slashers.

     I must say that,Sylvester Stallone has never looked more handsome in any other more more than this one.Stallone who was the supreme star of Hollywood in the 70's and 80's with his high voltage action movies doesn't disappoint you in this one too.The movie has some mind blowing action scenes even though some seems a bit too violent.Anyhow this movie is certainly worth your time.The one man army movies of Stallone are always a treat to watch.
        Critics can be annoying at times and it was the usual case when every Stallone movies got released in his peak time and this movie too was widely slammed by them for its violent plot upon it's release..But Stallone's star power made it safe at the box-office.As time went by,critics started to appraise the movie and now its a considered a cult classic.Even new generation actors tried to imitate the Cobra style of biting a tooth pick always, just as Ryan Gosling in the movie Drive.
