Verdict: A refreahing comedy about sports and sportsman spirit.

 The most natural comedian in Hollywood.Adam Sandler looks effortless and flawless with his comic timings.He has proved time and again that he not only can make people laugh but also educe their jovial mind back into them,with a wide variety of his movies for the last 3 decades.I must admit that I am a huge fan of him and as I was watching too much horror and crime movies and reviewing them for last few days,I badly needed a refreshment and a smile;who better than this great man to provide that.

Paul Crewe[Adam Sandler],who is a former NFL player and who has a history of match fixing in his record,gets arrested for drunk driving and creating chaos in streets.He is convicted and send to imprisonment for three years.He doesn't get a warm welcome in the prison ,as a superstar like him would expect ,where the warden Rudolph Hazen,is a football enthusiast and carries a dream of becoming state governor in the next elections.In order to boost his image he plans a football game between the inmates and the guards of his prison and he threatens Crewe in getting to coach  the convicts team.Coaching the convicts who all have brutal criminal records and violent natures,seems to be a tenacious assignment for Crewe.With the help of his new found friend called Caretaker[Chris Rock],Crewe chooses a team; a team full of men with enormous physiques and drifting tempers.

                    Their only motive in joining the team is to bash up the guards, whom they hate and suffered for long.Crewe tries to convince them that they could win this game and trains them hard.Soon the spirits are high and together they form a deadly combination called 'The Mean Machine'.But the night before the big match serious and unfortunate incidents happen in prison,which can put Crewe and his life in grave danger.He must lose the game to save his life.As reputation precedes everyone ,will Crewe fix the match once again in his life or he stays with the spirits of his inmates, who are all ready to take on the guards in this nation wide televised 'Match Of Honor'?!
                  The match turns out to be a nail biting affair and the final results matter a lot to many.With pride and glory at ratake, all go out there in front of a huge crowd to win; but for the Mean Machine's it all rests on Crewe,their best player on field..
                  Adam Sandler plays Crewe with its entireness and gives us plenty of moments to smile.The rest of the cast,who all are with distinct personalities,excel in their own roles,thanks to the director and crew.I can never be a critic of Adam Sandler movies as he hasn't disappointed me even once.Whenever I feel down or depressed I have a go, for his movies
