Verdict: A western movie full of energy.

 Emmett[Scott Glenn] is attacked by three gun men as he was asleep but he manages to kill them.He sets out to a town called Silverado where his sister lives;on his way he meets a stranger lying in the desert alomost dying.His name is Paden[Kevin Kline] and he decides to help him.Both become good friends and travel together and reach the town Turley.In Turley, Emmett finds out that his brother Jake[Kevin Costner],is imprisoned and awaiting a death sentence.Emmett saves both Paden and Jade and they escape from Turley.The sheriff of Turley and his deputies follow them but they are saved by the smart intervention of Mal[Danny Glover].This evokes a strong bond between all the four and the rest of the movie narrates about their friendship,heroics and revenge.

            Silverado is ruled by a ruthless and greedy sheriff Cobb who terrorizes his people with the help of a brutal mobster called McKendrick.All the four friends have got scores to settle with them and they come together for revenge against these deadly gangsters.They are ably helped by the locals who wants freedom from this tyranny.It's payback time for the bad guys but it's never easy for the four as they have to fight against a deadly and dangerous army.

          The movie is filled with all the necessary excitement and thrills normally associated with western movies.The climax scenes are well taken and I am sure a lot of hard work has gone behind it.All the actors have done full justice to their characters.As this is movie full of energy and brilliance,Silverado is a movie worth your time.It's  SWEEPING AND GLORIOUS LOOKING WESTERN MOVIE.
