Verdict : A Feel Good Movie for families and Mohanlal fans.

              There was heavy expectation for fans and movie lovers when the ace director Lal Jose and The Complete Actor Mohanlal came together for the first time in Mollywood..It created a big hype around the movie and expectations were sky high.Did they succeed or did the movie live up to the surmise.I must say it did to a large extend.They could have done it better but with a half baked script there is always a  limit.

           The movie starts of well with a feel good intro of Mohanlal but suddenly slows down in the first half.The movie will lag you a bit but some humor from Salim Kumar saves your time,Mohanlal's sudden make over from one character to another at the end of the first half is just so astounding underlining the fact that why he still remains the best actor this country has ever seen.The interval punch is just too good,that it saves the first half to a large extend and leave you guessing.

         Into the second half, its more or less a smooth sail for some time but certain unnecessary flash backs make you lousy and yawning.It again gathers pace towards the end with a rather predictable climax.The movie wont disappoint you but still that sense of feeling  remains in your mind when you walk out of the hall,,,,is that all from a combination of an ace director and Mohanlal?

        Mohanlal has two different get ups in this movie and as always does his job to perfection.But as a fan you may feel that, there is nothing challenging in both his roles.He sleepwalks through them..just too easy for him.Salim Kumar impresses after a long time and all other cast have done their parts well.

        Lal Jose direction saves the movie through out from sinking as the script doesnt have the punch or depth to hold the movie together for almost two and a half hours.It seems,Benny P Nayarambalam has not yet understood the full range of an actor like Mohanlal.Songs are the high light of this movie and they entertain you through out.Families will like them as all songs are well picturised.

       And the most important aspect of this movie is that its a perfect family watch with no adult dialogues which are usually associated with Mollywood new generation.If you want a clean family entertainer for this festive seson you can book your tickets.The movie will satisfy you.

       As this blog is meant only for Hollywod movies..i must admit that i could not resist the temptation of  Mohanlal-Lal Jose combo.
