Verdict : PERFECT MOVIE FOR FAMILY VIEWING.

       I always wanted to kick start my journey with my favourite actress ,NATALIE PORTMAN and with a perfect movie for family audience.Where the Heart is just the kind of movie u will watch over and over again.Lots a drama,comedy and romance.What more a family needs to spend 2 hrs infront of their dvd player.
    The movie is about an innocent, teenage girl Novalee Nation[Natalie portman]who gets abandoned by her cheater boyfriend while she was almost 8 months pregnant.More interestingly she is left alone by him bare footed in a wall mart.With no money and a baby in the belly she is left with no other choice other than to survive her poor ,unfortunate life in the mammoth  wall mart itself without being noticed by the wall mart officials.Her survival in the wallmart without getting caught my the officials for almost two weeks is told in a very humourous and reasoning manner and it is really the beat part of the movie.
  Finally one night she feels the pain and gets rescued by a nearby librarian [James Frain] on a rainy night and taken to a hospital where she delivers a baby girl.The incident became such a big news across the country and gifts and money starts pouring in.Wallmart authorities promise their help and gift her with money which is stolen away by her never seen, not so good mother.Meantime she meets a good friend Lexie Coop[Ashley Judd]who lives an interesting life full of boyfriends,breakups and lots of kids.Their friendship is the heart of the movie.The Emotional turmoils both hasto go through in life is very heart touching.Novalee starts a new carrier as a photographer and her love story with Forney Hull ends up with a happy note but not without some tear being shed.
 Meanwhile her evil boy friends story runs parallel.His cheating habits ends him up injail.Finally losing his two legs in an accident,Novalee goes over to hospital to meet him.He realizes his mistakes and ask her for forgiveness.But he had already lost her to that truly loving and caring boy friend Forney.
 An excellent way of story telling and i am sure you will enjoy every minute of this.Kids too will love this one.A totally different wayof story telling...never seen in hollywood for a long time.Natalie Portman excells in her role of the innocent teenage girl.Her smiles and emotions are just so proficient that u will love her for the rest of your life.Ashley Judd as always looks so matured and played the most complex character of her carrier with so much ease.For sure, she is one of the most versatile actress of our generation.
 The only flaw in the movie is that dialogue when Novalee tells Lexie that she got hooked up with a mechanic for sometime,which took away a lot of innocense from her character.That part of script could have been avoided coz that wont go down well with conservative families or to their definition of an innocent teenage girl.Other wise well written,well directed movie.Grab your DVD or download Netflix.
  I can guarantee you that u can watch this movie with your kids and you wont forget this one for a long time.
